Never a dull moment

There is never a dull moment when you have kids. My DD who is 6 and hasn't wanted anyone to cut her hair in about 4 years suddenly wanted her hair short on Sunday night. Well I had to grab the moment while it lasted and cut about 6 inches off - it's just past her shoulders now - she wants it shorter but I thought it would be safer to do it in stages. The last time we cut her hair (and that was only about 2 inches) she cried for days so I wasn't about to go there again. It looks so much fuller and bouncier now - but that's not the end of the story. I went into her room last night to remind her to pick out clothes for the first day back at school today (yipee!) and glanced in her waste basket and noticed huge chunks of blonde hair...... too blonde to be hers. I thought a moment and then looked over at her American Girl Doll - Rosie. Well you can probably guess how the story ends..... Apparently Rosie (the Samantha American Girl Doll that looks a lot like her) had to have a hair cut to match hers and you know how it goes - you trim a little and notice that one side is longer than the other so trim the other side but that's a little to short.... so now Rosie (after I tidied it up a bit) is sporting a cute new bob and bangs to match! You got to laugh otherwise you'd have to shoot yourself right????

Well today with the kids back in school it was time for me to get back into my exercise routine. As soon as they were out the door I went for my 2 mile walk around the neighborhood and then... (wait for it) my friend Yvonne called and we walked another 2 miles inside the mall (while it was snowing outside I might add.) So that's got to give me bonus points somewhere right????

Then after I got home I played a little while with the Stampin Up "Very Punny" Sellebration set and here is what I came up with (all images copyright Stampin Up)
I usually have a hard time with these little images but these turned out okay I think.
