A trip to the zoo

Yesterday the girls suggested we go to the zoo and since it was 70 F yesterday, and going to rain today and in the 30's tomorrow thought we might as well take the opportunity while we could. With backpacks full of snacks and cameras in hand we set off. Both of my DD's have digital camera's and love to take photos of all the animals. I love not having to worry about wasting film or accidentally exposing a roll.

Since there are no leaves on the trees we were able to see all the animals - even the cheeta's and wolves who are usually in hiding. We went out for Mexican afterwards - the perfect end to the perfect day :o)

Then I came home and did a little stamping - what could be better??? Made this mailbox (another of the Target $1 spot items) Who is it for? Hmmm.... she'll have to share when she gets it :o)







Also started working on some Valentine theme cards.










DH is watching the new 24 at the moment - I used to watch it but it has gotten to violent for me to enjoy it anymore. I did watch The Apprentice last night though - TOO funny!!!
