More creations

Love this new "Stem Silhouettes" stamp set from SU. I love all the nature type ones and thought I would stay with very natural colors when making this card.

I really like how it turned out - I used wasabi, river rock and close to cocoa. Boy they were not kidding when they called those mini library clips "mini"! They are really tiny - I know they show "actual size" in the mini cataloge but I still wasn't prepared with how small they actually were.

I'm still on a sewing kick too and made this notepad folio (the pattern was from Pink Chalk Studio) and it was so fun and easy and I love that you can use up bits of fabric scraps. The only piece that is a single piece is the cover and even that you could piece together.

Since then I have adapted the pattern to make one for 5x8 notepads and 4x6 notepads. I am thinking these will make great teachers gifts and the smaller ones I can make some matching cards to put in there and some postage stamps and they can be little stationary packs :o) If you like these and want one for yourself let me know and I am happy to make a few more.
It's a stay-at-home day for me today - yippee!! - so I am off to see what else I can come up with.
