Home again

Finally making back into the swing of things again. It's amazing how in 2 days my DH and DD's - who weren't even home 99% of the time I was gone - can leave such a mess!! Phew! I spent all day today just trying to set the house straight.

We had a great time in Atlanta. I spent too much time and money in IKEA and loved every minute of it :o) I bought matching desks, shelves and storage for my DD's for down here in our crafting room and now am in the process of better organizing their space so hopefully I can have more space too! (Need room to put the stamps I keep buying!)

At the SU Regional (oh yeah - the real reason for our trip...) I got to talk with Shelli Gardner (the lady that started SU) and even had my photo taken with her!

At convention you can't get anywhere near her without waiting in a 2hr line but at regional she is just walking around the tables chatting. I have to say that she is probably the sweetest, most genuine person I have ever met and it makes me proud to work for a company like hers. She never turns away anyone and she must have stood for at least an hour patiently smiling with everyone who wanted the photo taken with her.

I also got to speak to another of my favorite people from the home office - Linda Hanson.

Her presentations are always fun to watch and she has great project ideas (a few of which I plan to CASE in the near future.) She actually stayed in my home town when they went to open up SU in Australia! How funny is that!?!?!

We got a great stamp set for free - another doodle one that will be in an upcoming catalog. When I get a chance I will show you photos of the make-and-takes we did there.

Okay back to the housekeeping so that tomorrow I can get back to my stamping. From the looks of the blogs I checked this morning I am WAY behind!
