Need mom help....

My older DD is entering a new phase and I am having a hard time adjusting. It's spring break this week and all she wants to do is spend her days and nights with her friends either here or at their houses. There is no real reason for me not liking it - I just don't. I don't want her to be gone all the time already - she's only 8!! And I don't want the responsibility of other people's kids constantly either - it's stresses me out too much. I hate to tell her "no" since I don't really have a reason besides "I don't want you too" - especially since we will be gone the whole summer and she won't get to see any of them for 2 months but her sister is feeling very left out all the time and when she is home with us she has attitude. Any advice?

On to other things... our Diva sister swap challenge was to make a card using only a SU scrapping kit - I was pretty happy with the result.

It's made with leftovers that I had from the "At Home" kit that I had used to make a memorial album of my FIL for my MIL. I was going to put a sentiment on it but decided to leave it as is to be used for any occasion. Great way to use up the leftovers.

Since it is spring break not thinking I'll get a lot of stamping done this week. We spent the day at the mall today - did find shoes for both girls for the wedding so that is another thing checked off my list. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to do some.

Yvette,
I love this card!
It's hard to let the little ones go! Even if it's just on play dates.

This is lovely...no advice for the kiddo situation...I keep telling my four-year old that I will continue to stalk him once he enters university!

Love this card!! Really great job on the diva challenge!!! But then again, you always do amazing work for us Divas!
Sorry I don't have any advice for your daughter...I can scarcely handle my 4-year old right now!! ;-)
And for hte Bellas...unmounted stamps are NOT difficult at all! You can do one of 2 things...mount it on a wood block (ask Stephanie, she might be able to help, or tell me what sizes you want and I'll see what mom or even Michelle vw have from my stamps!) OR you use it as it was designed to be used on acrylic blocks. Since I had to totally convert to unmounted, it hasn't been tough. But I'll happily walk you through it!! :-)

Huggs!

Very nice card! As for your daughter...hmmmm, I realy like to keep mine around as much as possible. My girls love to stamp so I like to set them up with stamping or various activities to keep them as busy as possible.
