SDO

Yesterday I took a SDO - Stamping Day Off! After 3 stamping events in 5 days I needed a break (my house also needed a little cleaning....just a little!). It was a nice to not have to think about the next event for a day, catch up on my American Idol and the kitchen looks better now too! But today I will be back at it making some swaps. I made these cute mini milk cartons for an event I had Tuesday night

They are basically 2-4-6-8 boxes for those of you who have done them before with just the extra folds to make the top. Great for holding chocolate :o)

Speaking of holding chocolate - I am in a bloggers swap with Melissa and we had to make something green that would hold chocolate. This is actually my rejected idea - though it's still pretty cute!

The base of the box is a sheet of 12x12 cardstock that is folded origami style and needs no adhesive to hold it together - Spencer showed us how to do them at the SU convention last year. Then I just measured the finished box and made a lid to fit it. It holds a LOT of chocolate!

This afternoon is my younger DD's first soccer practice for the season - she is looking forward to it and is a pretty spunky little player. Then tomorrow me and the girls (the SU girls) are off to Atlanta - WOOHOO!!! I am doubly excited because Atlanta recently opened an IKEA and we are going to go - I LOVE IKEA!!! And then on Saturday is the SU Regional - so if you don't see me blogging for a few days that's where I am. Hopefully I'll come back with all kinds of new ideas to share. Better go start making those swaps!
