I'm done!!

Yes that's right - I finished the wedding invites and they are boxed and mailed and on their way to Australia and my sister should have them early next week - phew! That's one more thing I can check off my list of a billion things to do before we leave..... now to tackle the other 999999999....

My younger DD has yet another birthday party this weekend and so I fell back to my favorite standby gift - the lunch box. I quickly made this one this afternoon

and now I can fill it with crafting bits and pieces and "check" that's another thing done. I love using the SU scrapping kits for these because it all co-ordinates and you don't have to think about matching colors or pattern or anything - which is especially good when you are a brain dead as I am at the moment. The big chipboard flower I actually covered with DP from the winter mini - the valentines stuff - and even that matches :o)
I'm at the girls school tomorrow and Friday and tomorrow night is my DD's year end pizza party for soccer so I'm not sure when I am going to clean the house ready for my mum who arrives on Saturday.... even scarier than that is the fact that we leave 2 weeks from today! I will be glad to get there but right now I am so not ready to leave. We still want to squeeze in Shrek 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean before we leave too... I hope my mum is ready to enter the whirlwind that is my life.

Yvette,
I was sent your blog address from a friend. The Little Black Dress basics class you took was one of the classes that I designed for Tina. I wanted to let you know I have all the pictures of what the book should look like when it is finished. I will be posting them on my blog before the weekend is up. I hope this helps you finish your book, and I'd like to see photos of it when you complete it.

Thanks so much,
Cindy
