Summer days

I love these days of summer with spontaneous adventures to the farmers markets or the ice cream store or whatever takes our fancy at the moment. A trip to the mountains is always spent scouring the streams for any kinds of creatures we can find.

My youngest sister has gone home but my other sister is staying with me until the end of July and we have had lots of fun buying fabrics and sewing together. I made this set of placemats, napkins and coasters for the BTRS swap I am in - I hope my swap partner likes them - I think they are cute and I need a set for myself!

I also made this set of coasters and am addicted to how cute they are too so will have to make some more I think.

My sweet sister made me the cutest new curtain for my sewing area.

It matches the new chair we got on our trip to IKEA (amongst other things...) perfectly :o) How could you not be happy to sit and sew here?

Hope you are all enjoying those summer days.

I am doing the BTRS Swap too and see that we used the same Alexander Henry fabric. Too funny. Yours look great!

What a talent you have! I wish I knew how to sew but the whole idea of it scares me!:( Perhaps someday... Thanks for entering my giveaway! Good Luck! Lori
