I LOVE all the spring bulbs - crocuses, tulips, hyacinth etc - and though in a way I am sad that winter has seemingly skipped us this year with barely any snow to mention I love to see those little splashes of color pop out of the ground. These are the first crocuses to come out in my garden. They make me smile every time I see them :o)
Played a bit with the Happy Harmony sellebration set that I originally was not planning on getting - but hey - free is free right? It is definitely a set that lends itself to watercoloring, pastels and soft colors.
This card I used the popping pastels technique (stamp first in Versamark and then use sponge daubers to add in the color). I think I will try using the watercolor crayons next - I haven't played with those in a while. (okay I I have no idea what that little black dot is.........)
Would you like to paricipate in a bloggers swap? Check out the the details on Melissa's blog - it involves chocolate and that can only be good! Sign up deadline is Feb 16th. If you have never participated in a swap before they are easy to do and a lot of fun and you get lots of great ideas from other stampers. And did I mention it also involves chocolate????
